What ingredients are special in Russian food and when do they eat?
Ok, im 14 and i really like this guy, and i think he likes me back. We have played spin the bottle (hug version) before in a group of three guys and two girls (one me, the other my friend), and he seemed to be really into it, and wanted to make it the kissing version etc. (my friend is only 12 and didnt want to so i didnt want to put pressure on her). In the few weeks i am gonna have another party with the same people, and i was wandering if anyone knew how/when i should ask him out. Any help would be fantastic, thank you! =)
ps. where i live its not a ‘dateing’ culture. What we do is just call eachother our boyfriend/girlfriend, there is no actual date, so i cant even ask him if he wants to hang out later, and sides, i would need a car to see him as we live 10 mins away from eachother by car, and its a main road so i cant walk it! Thanks again!
How should i ask this guy i really like to be my first boyfriend? An easy 10 points!?
I chose Journey as my topic for my art exam but according to my teachers this is just a starting point so could go in to pretty much anything.
Im basing it around the book “On the Road” by Jack Kerouac who goes on a roadtrip of the USA.
It was written in the late 1940′s to early 1950′s so I thought I could do something to do with the culture around that time in America. Basically I need some idea’s, like what could I draw? what artists do similar things? What other things link in with “Journey”
Artists that use “Journey”?
Literally any help would be great. Thanks
GCSE ART EXAM HELP; my topic is “Journey”, I need some idea’s of what to do with it?
Do you think one culture can destroy another culture?
There is a culture that once believed that, if you looked into someone’s eyes and saw your reflection (which we now know why, of course), that it was the reflection of your soul.
I learned about this a long time ago. And, frankly, I just don’t remember what type of people believe this. I thought this concept belonged to Egyptians. When I went to look it up, however, I couldn’t find anything on it.
Does anyone know where I might information about this? What culture, If I’m wrong? It would be a lot of help. I’m writing something and I want to get the correct information. Thanks a lot!

Section A: Describe Christian teaching about the way in which they should treat people who are less fortunate than themselves.
Throughout humankind there has always been a divide between classes, the wealthier and the less fortunate. In both cases these two divides live their lives in very different ways. Many of the world’s religions have been taught throughout generations to treat everyone as they wish to be treated themselves, to care for all races, religions and the needy. In the time of Christ people read the Bible and are believed to help the poor who they knew or heard about. Today, however, people are more conscious of the needier across the whole world, through the use of television, newspapers, radio, the internet and many other useful sources. Therefore, throughout all religions and cultures people are more aware than ever about global crisis’ and they have realised that poverty and disasters happen more globally than they recognised before.
The Old Testament teaches Christians that unless you help the poor with consideration, you would be punished. In the book of Exodus, there are clear guidelines about how to treat the poor with kindness and aid and avoid exploiting them. This is shown in the book of Leviticus 25:35-37 ‘If one of your countrymen becomes poor and is unstable to support himself among you, help him as you would an alien or temporary resident, so that he can continue to live among you. You must not lend him money at interest or sell him food at a profit.’ The profits had also made it very clear to the Jews that they should treat the poor with kindness and respect.
This theme is continued into the New Testament when Jesus began his teachings. Jesus quoted from the Old Testament, ‘…To preach the good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind. To release the oppressed. To proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.’ This was quoted from Luke 4:18-19.
